The Black Box FMT631-R3 is a CAT6 keystone jack that fits neatly into Black Box GigaStation2 wallplates, surface-mount housings, and standard patch panels, creating a termination point that looks clean and professional.

Built to deliver component level performance, the jack supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and meets CAT6 specifications. It is also backward compatible with CAT5e, CAT5, and CAT3 cabling, which means you can upgrade sections of your network without replacing every cable run. Gold-plated nose contacts with 50-micron plating resist corrosion and minimize signal loss, while phosphor bronze IDC contacts maintain a secure grip on each conductor.

Termination is straightforward with a standard 110 punchdown tool. A retention stuffer cap snaps over the IDC contacts to provide strain relief and lets you double-check your wire placement before you close up the wallplate or panel. The universal wiring label shows both T568A and T568B patterns, so installers can match whichever scheme the rest of the infrastructure uses.
