IDC contacts made from phosphor bronze carry a 50 micron gold finish that resists wear and oxidation, maintaining clean contact over years of service.

The housing shows both T568A and T568B wiring patterns, and it accepts 24 to 26 AWG solid copper cable. Backward compatibility with CAT5e, CAT5, and CAT3 lets you upgrade existing infrastructure at your own pace.
