• Blade Assist: Open your knife in a flash. COAST’s Blade Assist mechanism uses a proprietary opening system that releases the blade faster, smoother, and more safely than other blade-assist designs. Simply push the studs on the side of the blade, and it pops open. Only available on knives equipped with the Max-Lock system.
• Glass Breaker: Escape in an emergency. The sharp point of the Glass Breaker, positioned at the tail end of the knife handle, allows you to easily shatter auto glass when you need to exit a vehicle quickly.
• Max-Lock: Safety, maximized. COAST’s Max-Lock system locks the blade in both open and closed positions. When locked closed, it prevents the assisted opening mechanism from engaging in your pocket. When locked open, it ensures the blade won’t accidentally close during use. Coupled with a standard Liner-Lock, Max-Lock provides double the safety.
• One Position Knife Clip: Keep your knife within easy reach. The COAST One Position Knife Clip securely attaches your knife to your pocket, allowing for quick access while keeping it tucked safely away.
• Seat Belt Cutter: Get out fast when seconds count. The recessed Seat Belt Cutter, located on the back of the knife handle, lets you quickly slice through seat belt material to escape your vehicle in an emergency.
• Thumb Studs: Open your knife with ease. The small thumb studs mounted on each side of the blade allow for quick, one-handed opening.
