Made in England, with the screen printed hang tags these boots were most likely made in the late 1980s- early 90s
They are smooth red leather, but so much softer than the new MIA smooth leathers that are produced today.
The DMs website describes the vintage style leather used in their modern MIE line: "Thick and corrected-grain with a matte finish, this leather only gets better with age. Quilon leather is created using a traditional method and features contrast base color for a two-tone finish."
These vintage boots are in remarkable shape for their age. They do have minor discolorations, creases, and wear as shown in photos.
The laces were frayed, so I replaced them with a new pair of vintage laces.
