First edition, first printing hardcover copy of Gangster #2: Longy Zwillman - The Man Who Invented Organized Crime by Mark A. Stewart (Lyle Stewart, Inc. 1985). Very scarce and collectible true first edition of this True Crime book, chronicling the life and exploits of Longy Zwillman, an instrumental figure in the Prohibition-era underground - known as the Al Capone of New Jersey. With photographs.

Heavily worn jacket is now protected in archival sleeve but has significant wear around the edges, tears, creases and chipping. Some torn bits have tape applied to them by a previous owner. Boards are straight and clean with corners and spine ends bumped. A few instances of split binding and two pages of photographs partially separated from binding, but not completely. Slanted spine. Hinges remain secure. All pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
