Simply beautifully done on Olive wood carving of Jesus praying in the garden of Gethsemane. In excellent condition. I would say mint if it wasn't for a grain of dark wood running in a fine line at the bottom of Jesus hair. I magnified the dark line and it is a grain of the wood running at the base of Jesus hair on both sides. I thought there was a small crack in the wood and upon very high magnification it is only a dark vein of the olive wood running along the base of his hair. This is a magnificent piece. And perhaps it was the artist's intention to be that way. As a seller, I strive to point out anything unusual so I have. No chips, cracks, nicks or any damage to this piece. On the base is a carved name that appears to say Jimmy. Piece measures 8.25 inches long, 4 inches wide. 5.5 inches tall. Non smoking pet free home.
