I am selling this antique meat carving knife with a steel blade and sterling silver handle. The manufacturer is Gorham. At the top of the handle they are stamped STERLING with pattern number 75 beside the hallmark. The stamp on the handle indicates it was produced in 1890.
It is in very good vintage condition, with minor scratches and dings from years of use. The knife blade has discolored slightly but has retained some shine. The blade is long and thin, ideal for carving turkey, ham, or roast beef. The handle has an ornate design, with waves and scrolling vines, retaining a little natural patina.
