Grape Agate was the name given to the Purple Botryoidal Chalcedony that was discovered in Indonesia. There is so far only one location it is found in, making this a very rare and valuable stone. The colors range from dark purple, a light lilac and lavender. Sometimes a rare green color might be found amongst a purple vein as well as a bi-colored green & purple, which are the rarest.
