Up for sale is this really tremendous nocturnal abstract cityscape oil painting on canvas. This painting depicts arching skyscrapers against a green backdrop, with the reflection of those buildings on the water below. Seems to depict the New York skyline, but I'm not sure of that. I love the bright lights blipping through the dark blacks and greens of the sky and buildings. It is signed (appears to read "Drew Winton," but could be "Winston") at lower left. It comes framed in a thick dark wood two-toned frame that compliments it well. I estimate that this dates to the 1960s.
Condition: The painting is in very good condition. There is one small spot of canvas fraying (tough to see unless inspected closely). The frame has a number of small nicks and dings.
Measurements: Painting measures 16 inches wide x 12 inches high. Frame measures 20.25 inches wide x 16.25 inches high.
