This ring is absolutely GORGEOUS! It has a very large lab created alexandrite stone. The stone has been tested on a gem tester and with a UV light where it glows a bright orange/red color. If you don't know anything about alexandrite, it is a unique stone in that the color shifts according the light you are in. This one shifts from a DARK purple amethyst color to a more eggplant purple color with glimmers of pink and blue. The stone measures 17mm x 9mm approximately so this is a pretty large stone. It is set in a beautiful sterling silver setting. It is marked 925 and also has a makers mark but I can't make it out. The total weight is 6.0g and the size is 8. It is in VERY good condition with just a few light scratches and dings from normal wear. (Bin#MSP1)
