Rene Lalique created some of the most beautiful, highest quality crystal art from the Mid Century.
Made during the 1950's, these two beautiful sparrows are made of heavy crystal, both wings and tail are up as they peck at the ground for food.
Each bookend is in very good condition for such a vintage piece, just showing minimal use on the bottom, as you will see in the photos.
There are no chips, breaks, cracks in the body of the pieces or the noses of the birds.
Each are signed on the bottom.
