3 large brooches all circa 1910-1920
Two gold filled Edwardian belt buckle style brooches.
The one without engraving is stamped GLP Co. made by George L. Paine Company between 1910-1922 in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
They produced solid gold, 10k gold front and gold-filled jewelry according to the American Jewelry Manufactures book by Dorothy Rainwater on page 184.
The buckle brooch with engraving is stamped JJS for Sommer Co., J.J. who was active in North Attleboro, MA from 1896-1934. Just like the GLP Co piece it also tests as gold.
The silver piece is unstamped but does have a c-clasp that dates it to that same era. The beveled citrine stone was tested and is glass.
All three are in great condition!
