Exquisite ceramic running horse statue!
This stately & well maintained piece embodies true Mid Century style & form.
Made of ceramic & has a beautiful black, green, & yellow high gloss glaze.
Detailed, great use of color, & horses are very fluid in movement.
A Mid-Century masterpiece!
Likely made circa 1950’s by an unknown maker. Marked with a single red “F” on the base.
Wonderful display piece for your bookshelf or mantle! Also makes a great gift for the horse lover in your life.
DIMENSIONS-
Approx 8 3/4” tall & base is 2 3/4” wide
CONDITION-
Good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
Crazing present. 1 small glaze chip on the bottom of hoof (see photo 10).
Aside from a light dusting, any detailed cleaning is left to the discretion of the buyer.
