Beautiful Miriam Haskell antique brooch for Your Collection!
Here is an absolutely gorgeous brooch from Miriam Haskell. This brooch features a cluster of pearls between two lacy metal leaves topping a cascade of caged baroque pearls and textured rectangular glass stones. The rectangular stones were originally covered with a pearl finish but much of this has worn off over the years. While this brooch is not signed Haskell it has many elements that indicate Haskell. The brooch finding with the round holes is typical Haskell, as are the lacy Goyot leaves. Also the type of chain used and the construction are typical of Haskell. From top to bottom this measures 4 inches or 10 cm long and it is 3 inches or 7.5 cm wide. This brooch does show signs of age. As noted above the pearl tone finish has worn off of the rectangular stones and there is some discoloration on some of the brass tone findings.
