This cassette player is brand new in the package, but that does not mean that it is functional. This unit has been sealed in the plastic for over 20 years. There is a chance that the rubber belts inside have deteriorated and will need to be replaced.
Please purchase this only if you are capable of replacing the belts, or if you are a collector who is intending to leave this unit sealed in the package.
Note that the foam on the headphone ear pads has deteriorated. This can be seen through the plastic packaging.
There is some wear/cracks in the plastic packaging. Please review the photos carefully.
