Vintage original movie poster half sheet (22” x 28”) for “Queen of Outer Space”, the low budget science fiction spoof shot in Deluxe Color & CinemaScope story by Ben Hecht (of “Front Page” fame) & starring Zsa Zsa Gabor in gowns designed by legendary Edith Head.
This original vintage film poster for the 1958 release of the science fiction cult & camp classic “Queen of Outer Space” has general wear & tear, faint scattered scuff marks that are not very noticeable plus fold & edge wear. Please see images. The poster looks fantastic & will display extremely well. In fact, the poster displays so well that it was loaned out for use in a men’s underwear advertising commercial a couple years ago.
The central plot of a planet ruled by women was recycled from other science fiction features of era, including “Cat-Women of the Moon”. “Queen of Outer Space” also recycled many props, costumes & other elements used in earlier films of the 1950s, most prominently the crewmen's uniforms & rayguns.
