For sale is my vintage original map of the Monterey Peninsulas, Del Monte Property with proposed home lots, and The Dunes Course at soon to be built Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Finished in 1961 by Seth Raynor architect who started the project and was finished by Robert Hunter after Raymond death. The Shores Course was built after the membership reached 1,000. Home owners payed a monthly due of $5!! Oh, after an initial investment of $150K. Lot of dough back then. Club house was voted on by original members in 1959. Layout of holes shown with dotted lines and flags. This isn’t a reproduction. Size is 26” in width by 22” tall. Actual measurements of map, w/frame 28” X 25” or so. Check out all the pictures closely, The Peninsula has a rich and varied history, dating back to the end of WWI, 1919, when Pebble Beach Golf Links opened. The Old Del Monte Golf Course is the oldest course west of the Mississippi (1897) with PB to follow soon. Cypress Point was est. in 1928.
