Antique Ostby & Barton carved shell cameo ring. ring is made from 14 karat gold fill.  The band of the ring is bent and out of shape. Ring is signed. see photos for condition. sold as is.
This turn-of-the-century ring was made by Ostby and Barton. Ostby  was unfortunately a passenger on the doomed titanic. although him, and his daughter were both first class passengers she made it to a life boat, but he did not. In a small way, owning us to be in Barton jewelry Gives the owner a small connection to the titanic.
