This is a framed and matted photo of a chimp named Sheba and her Basset Hound Skyler
The photo is from an April 1988 People magazine article with the same photo. The former owner of the photo taped the article to the back of this framed photo.
This came from the estate of a former Ohio teacher, the 6 year old chimpanzee in the photo was part of a primate cognition project at Ohio State University. A part of Sheba's program was learning to take care of a pet, which is Skylar a 9 month old Basset Hound.
It is unknown how the former owner acquired this photo, it was on the wall of her home for many decades among other treasured art and photos.
It is professionally framed and matted and the article is taped on the back where she wrote that it's from People Magazine April 1988.
