Hardcover, undated. Pages are thicker paper boards, akin to cardstock. Pages have some light staining as pictured in 2nd photo, no page has heavier staining that example shown. Some pages have "mirroring" of illustration on opposite page, from being closed in storage for so long. No rips or tears to pages. Illustrations are vibrant. Cover shows some rubbing around edges/corners, some staining on top 2" of spine. Overall a good copy, especially considering it's age.
