This is a rare advertising stoneware crock for Maker's Mark. It was made in Lousiville, KY. It looks like a whiskey barrel. It is approximately 10 inches high (11” with the lid on). and 8 inches wide. It is a very heavy piece and weighs almost 6 pounds.
The lid does not lock in. It’s just sits on top it’s more of a decorative piece than anything. No chips or cracks. There are some factory flaws in the paint as well as some scratches. In the inside bottom of the barrel, or a few factory cracks it would’ve happened when it was fired but they don’t go through.
