The unique design features big red eyes and a cute bunny shape that makes it perfect for occasions like Mother's Day, Anniversary, Birthday, Valentine's Day and especially Easter. This original piece from the Retro era (1935-1960) is made of glass material and has an oval-shaped main stone. The pin is 2.5" in length.
Only found a handful of examples online. None with the red eyes and folded ears. Very rare piece!
The DeNicola Company was founded by the jewelry designer, Jerry DeNicola, in 1957. The designer produced high quality costume jewelry to rival the real thing. One of the early costume jewelry lines was "The Real Thing." Signed DeNicola jewelry items are hard to find. It is in great vintage condition and has some wear consistent with age.
