Religious antique French catholic copper crucifix mount, or 'corpus Christi' corps body of Holy Jesus Christ with nails. Set of 2. These are made out of cast metal finished in brass gilt. The body has oxidized a bit Which adds to the charm and authenticity. These can be very pricey. I have seen many range from 84 to 120 a piece. The figures were once an element of a crucifix and for some unkown reasons it was separated from the cross.
• Both are in good vintage used condition especially for their age. These have not been polished to avoid rubbing away any detail or losing the patina that collectors love so much, the defects caused by aging add to the charm, some age related marks are present what does not affect their usage or display
•They can be mounted on a Gallery wall, used for making your own wall hanging, or replacing a missing Jesus from a crucifix
