This movement by Seiko the 7625E variant was used during their Sportsmatic series in the 60's and 70's. Originally purposed with a fully service that includes a 4 stage ultrasonic auto clean cycle that includes the use of metal brightener solutions, for a project watch that failed to materialize. After cleaning it was assembled with proper lubrication and necessary adjustments to achieve 200+ amplitude and a + or _ daily rating of 5 seconds. The movement features all alloy parts with a 17jewel Autowind that takes just a few shakes to bring its mechanism to life.
