Signed and inscribed by Father Hesburgh on front free endpaper. Includes an original letter (personal info digitally obscured above) from the University of Notre Dame explaining the gifted origin of this copy. Catholic religion and education philosophy writings by the influential Catholic priest.
Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with rubbing/scuffing to faces and heavy wear around the edges - including some chipping, creases and tears, with a few of the larger tears having tape applied to interior side of dj. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine remains fairly straight. All pages clean and unmarked though faintly tanned. See photos for condition.
