6" Water Goblet in the Regent glassware pattern by Stuart Crystal, Made in England. It measures 6 3/8" tall, and is in excellent to mint condition overall, no chips, cracks, no imperfections noted. Pattern is discontinued and produced between 1955 - 1981. Pattern is clear, cut glass. Company merged with Waterford Glass.
It is signed with acid etching on the bottom as shown; Stuart, England.
Item is Pre-Owned and is in excellent to superb condition with typical estate wear.
About Stuart Crystal
Stuart Crystal produced high end cut crystal beginning in 1827 when eleven year old Frederick Stuart was sent to work at the Redhouse Glassworks on the 'crystal mile', an area just outside Stourbridge England where generations of local craftsmen had already made this the centre of English Glassmaking. It continued its operations until the company was purchased by Waterford in 1995. All of Stuart's patterns were discontinued in 2001 by Waterford.
