The Tripp Lite N002-006-GY is a six-foot Cat5e Ethernet cable that links computers, switches, routers, and other networked devices with a steady Gigabit connection.

Designed for Category 5 and 5e applications, the cable carries data at up to 1 Gbps and supports frequencies to 350 MHz, which keeps pace with typical home and business networks without introducing signal lag or interference.

Each end features an RJ45 male connector that is molded directly onto the cable. The integral strain relief protects the plug and internal conductors when the cable is bent during installation or moved in daily use. A PVC jacket surrounds four twisted pairs of stranded copper conductors, creating a flexible assembly that still meets IEEE 802.3ab, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/EIA/TIA 568 requirements.

The cable can pass power alongside data, so it is a neat way to run PoE devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, or VoIP phones without adding a separate power line. At desks it quickly patches a laptop to a wall jack, and in racks it works neatly between patch panels and switches.

The gray jacket blends with most office hardware, and the same cable is available in other lengths and colors if you decide to color-code a larger installation.

Highlights:
  • Cat5e performance for up to 350 MHz and 1 Gbps communication
  • Six-foot length with a gray PVC jacket
  • Molded RJ45 male connectors with integral strain relief
  • Four twisted pairs of stranded UTP conductors for flexibility and durability
  • Complies with IEEE 802.3ab, ANSI/EIA/TIA 568, and ISO/IEC 11801 standards
  • Supports PoE devices and is available in multiple lengths and colors
