The Tripp Lite S510-003 is an internal Mini-SAS cable that bridges a host controller to a backplane or other storage hardware inside a server, workstation, or RAID enclosure. One end carries a single Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) plug, while the other splits into four 32-pin (SFF-8484) connectors, giving you a clean way to link multiple drives to one controller port without crowding the chassis.

This three-foot cable supports SAS and SATA generations I, II, and III, handling data rates up to 6Gbps. By using the compact Mini-SAS interface, it can achieve up to four times the port density of older parallel SCSI wiring, which leaves more room for airflow and simplifies cable management in tight 1U or 2U racks.

Positive, passive latches on every connector click firmly into place, so the cable stays put even when the server vibrates or when you swap drives during maintenance. Whether you are expanding a RAID array, building a small business server, or assembling a test bench in the lab, the Tripp Lite S510-003 offers the reliable, high-performance link you need without adding complexity.

Highlights:
  • Single Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) to four 32-pin (SFF-8484) breakout connectors
  • Three-foot length, roughly 0.91 meter, easy to route inside most chassis
  • Works with SAS and SATA generations I, II, and III at speeds up to 6Gbps
  • Compact design increases port density and helps improve airflow
  • Positive passive latching keeps connections secure during vibration or maintenance
  • Ideal for controller to backplane links in servers, workstations, and RAID enclosures
