The first half of Ultimate Otaku Teacher, produced by A-1 Pictures and released by Funimation. Includes 12 episodes on 2 Blu-rays and 2 DVDs. The discs and case are in great shape, but the slipcover is not included. Sorry, it was missing when I bought it.
The protagonist of this show, Junichiro, is a substitute teacher who uses his knowledge of anime, manga, and video games to teach his students.
How does it stack up against other anime series wherein a teacher uses unconventional methods to reach their students? Is it like "The Gokusen" without the Yakuza stuff? Is it like "GTO" without the...whatever that show has in it? Is it like some third series that I can't think of at the moment? I dunno, probably not. I haven't seen it. But the only way to find out is to watch this series.
All media is from my personal collection and is well cared for. All discs are region coded for North America, and all used discs have been tested on a PS5 and play without issue. Thank you for reading!
