This listing is for a rare Victorian Vintage Antique Brass Picture Button Follow Where My White Plume Leads.
Said to be Henry of Navarre at the Battle of Ivry. One piece brass stamped in high relief. An engraved battle scene has been added in the background of this version. Quite fine, and scarce in this version.
It’s shown on page 314, plate 125-3 in The Big Book of Buttons (BBB). This beautiful button measures exactly 1.420” (36.01 mm) in diameter and comes from a smoke free, pet free environment.
