This rare bag was purchased at Mademoiselle shop in Nassau Bahamas in the early 1960s. One owner.
Hand made in France for Mademoiselle, an elegant clutch style handbag of woven linen type fabric in off white. Adorned with white beading in a floral pattern. Snap closure, lined in taffeta, two inner compartments, includes a comb.
Measures 11 x 5.5 inches.
There is a light tan stain at the back (I have not tried to treat). All beading is intact. Could be a good candidate for dyeing. My home is smoke free.
