Vintage ashtray. Could not find any information about this on the internet. It weighs about 1 to 1.5lb. Appears to be brass with a little bit of oxidation buildup on the emblem and around the bottom area and definitely on the underside. Not sure what lot number 238 means or even if the year 7 - 1943 means anything. I do know both my grandparents in the 1940’s smoked. This item lived in Oakland CA most of its life. Any information someone could provide would be appreciated
