Description
Vintage Art Deco Style Desk or Table Lamp Brass Tone & Glass with Adjustable light
This is a very attractive modern looking desk lamp with Art Deco design influences. I do not know its age or maker.
Two brass tone metal columns support two heavy 1/4" thick glass shelf 'wings' with rounded edges. The center part is a perforated black metal section holding the glass 'wings' together. On top of this is a dimensional 2-level housing for the bulb (halogen 100W bulb that fits & works perfectly). The black metal base is also 2-level with the dimmer switch on top as pictured.
The lamp is used and although I have cleaned it, more detailing might be needed. It is in quite good condition with some edge & surface wear on the metal base and a bit of tarnish/rust on the brass columns only adds to the patina.
Measuring about 15-3/4" tall x 18" top width x 4-1/2" top depth, it weighs 6 pounds. .
