For your consideration is this absolutely beautiful tea cup, saucer and salad plate set. Several Japanese porcelain companies produced Flower of the Month lines during the 1950s, such as Norleans, Sterling China, UCAGCO, NAPCO. I was unable to ascertain which company produced this particular set, but it would have been a Japanese export during that time. This lovely set has a gorgeous opalescent glaze and is accented in Gold. The lovely pink rose motif is a transfer. The tea cup measures 4.43 inches diameter x 5.28 inches long (handle to cup rim) x 2.15 inches tall (cup rim to bottom of foot). The saucer measures 6.5 inches in diameter. The salad plate measures 7.5 inches in diameter. I did note very minor abrasions on the saucer and plate when I held the cup up to the light...caused by stacking most likely...really not observable in standard use. There are no chips, cracks or major abrasions noted, but these is a rubbed spot on the salad plate most likely caused from a metal plate ha
