Vintage Large 3" Vietnam Veteran's National Medal U. S. Mint 1984 NIB With Plastic Stand 686
We have two of these fabulous Vietnam Veteran's 1984 Metals new in their original boxes with tissue paper and a small plastic stands stamped U. S. Mint. These metals are being sold SEPARTELY.
The box is approx. 4" x 4". It is numbered 686 and has a unique construction with wires holding the box together.
On the front of the metal are soldiers and a helicopter "UNITED" written on it. The map of Vietnam embossed with a circle "Saigon" under the helicopter. In the lower left corner is "TKT" embossed in the grasslands.
On the reverse side: In honor of those men and women who gave of themselves in an effort to ensure democracy and peace throughout the world this metal is struck

Underneath the wording is an eagle, an American Flag and the Capital in the background.
1 1/2" Diameter Weight: 8 5/8 ozs.
