Vintage Made in Japan music box. Black Lacquer with hand painted scenes and inlayed with what I believe to be is Mother-of-Pearl/Nacre. The interior has 2 side compartments plus a drawer in the middle on top. The bottom has one large area and a small area; the music box workings are in the bottom back corner. Wind from the bottom. No key.
Condition: there are areas of wear/use. Some chips in the lacquer, specifically on the edges, but nothing larger than a pin head. No defects to the paint or inlay that I am able to see. See photos for close-up of areas with chips.
