Vintage MCM Art Deco handcarved wood Scottish Terrier bookends from the 1930s. If you have Scottish Terriers, had one in the past, or admire them, these are perfect for you!
They have glass eyes. If their eyes could talk, I'd say these two are in some trouble. I can imagine one dog saying to the other, "He did it.." ! And the other one saying, "No, he did it." Haha. Adorable! Great handcarved detail that really brings out the texture & facial features.
Vintage items will almost always have some form of wear. These have a few scuffs and marks, including a red mark on the base of one. Plz see pics for condition. I forgot to measure them! They are already bubble wrapped. Felt pads were added to the bottoms, giving them some extra height. Plz see pics w/ books for size reference. (Books not included)
