A stunning and unique Masonic Order of the Eastern Star posy boutineer corsage brooch pin. A large substantial brooch in a silver plated setting that features a large curve in the center...so the center pop out. The sides are ornate and has wonderful filigree like design elements that you also see in the center being the Order of the Eastern Star in enamel. Some patina. Good working roll-over clasp. The Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic appendant body open to both men and women. It was established in 1850 by lawyer and educator Rob Morris, a noted Freemason, and adopted and approved as an appendant body of the Masonic Fraternity in 1873. Found elsewhere for $123.
