I have dated the canvas back to the 1970s. The frame is original from the 1970s. This is an antique item and priced accordingly. Extremely rare. A priest from the Redemptionists Order founded by St. Alphonsos Liguori in the 1700s painted this oil painting. The artists name is Priest Liguori. Taking the name of his favorite saint.
The scene painted is a cathedral that has been painted by many artists, as it is a beautiful place. It is also now an Instagram worthy famous church, St. Johann Church in the foothills of South Tirol, Italy. This has thick oil paint and is indicative style of Impressionism and emulates the styles of Claude Monet and Vincent Vangough.
