This item is new in the box. We only opened it to test to make sure it worked. The light on the glows when the phone is ringing. The look is like a stained glass lamp rotary, but the rotary dial is for looks. The numbers are buttons that you push to dial. There is a small scratch next to the number 1 which was like this upon opening. There may be other small scuffs or scratches that we have not noticed. The phone works and is a great fun find for a collector.
