This Vintage Sunbeam Clock has got to be one of the coolest MCM weather stations I’ve ever seen. It looks so Space Age with its aeronautical looking gauges and dials. And what a cool layout too, with the big clock encompassing the 3 smaller weather station dials. I love how the background is jet black. The gauges are all white and the gauge and clock hands “pop” off the black background with a green and red color, respectively. Every weather station gauge and the clock works and all seem to be fairly accurate!
Back in the day, every MCM household had one or more of these weather stations. This one is so cool pop-culture 70s. It’s also, a nice size at 10 inches square, and it sits off the wall about 2.5 inches. The rear of the clock has a hanging hole and houses the quartz movement for the clock. It takes one AA battery, which I’ve included for free. Hang this just about anywhere you want an eye-catching conversation starter piece and you’ll love it!
