Vintage Tweed Stripe Suitcase;Tan W/Brwn Alligator Trim/Handle;Burgundy Interior

Classically styled suitcase made of sturdy wood covered in beautiful golden tan tweed with a wide stripe design in red, brown & gold down the middle on all sides. Sides edged in brown alligator leather with beige stitching & antique brass hardware. Has sturdy brown alligator leather handle held down by antique brass hardware & four brass round pegs on bottom for protection. Two antique brass latches open the lid to an interior lined in burgundy moire satin fabric. Long gathered pocket in lid, interior bottom lightly padded with three gathered pockets & three ribbon ties attached. Dimensions are 24” L, 13.5” H, 7” W, 5” D. Suitcase is from 1930’s & is in wonderful antique vintage condition. With age, has light scuffs & markings, hints of water damage & areas of missing leather but no cracks or holes & no tears in tweed. Interior in good condition with slight markings & frays but no deep tears, rips, holes, stains or odors. See photos. Great antique piece to display & use for storage.
