This is really a brilliant piece of Americana! This super colorful rainbow outfitted clown is holding a puppy dog that is also dressed as a clown in this H Hargrove ORIGINAL vintage oil painting! This artist is well known for his oil paintings, many going for thousands even! This would make a lovely gift for the clown lover in your life or an addition to your own personal collection! Either way, this is a tough one to part ways with, the colors are vibrant, the details are a real selling point, from the patchwork outfit to the hair on the clown! I wish I had more information on this piece, there is some information on the back, one for sure is a stamp from a former art gallery in Chicago Illinois!
