This beautiful stein was produced by Villeroy and Boch Mettlach in the early 1980s.
It is made in the same traditional Mettlach "etched" technique with the same old Mettlach quality of craftsmanship - all the small details, including the inlaid lid and the thumblift are so well crafted, nobody else was able to reproduce such quality except Mettlach itself.
The stein is one of the series of four steins illustrating Brothers Grimm fairy tales - the famous German collection of fairy tales. This one illustrates 3 fairy tales: "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs" on the front panel, and "The Frog Prince" and "Little Red Riding Hood" on the side panels.
Marked with the Mettlach "castle" mark on the bottom. The stein is in excellent flawless condition, it is 9" tall, 0.5L capacity.
