I had an extremely similar coat that had World War 1 providence so I believe this coat is from roughly the same era although it's hard to know for certain because the military uses the same designs for so long. I wore the first one to pieces and I spent the next 26 or so years trying to find another one which I finally did!
Unfortunately I'm out of work because of a pending disability claim so I am selling stuff off to live. This coat is so warm that while walking to work in the snow with temperatures in the teens I had to open it because I was too warm. That and it's awesome look are the two main reasons I spent so long looking to replace my original one.
The size is 36L. It's approximately 50" long and the sleeves are about 24" long. It's 100% Wool and official US Army surplus. It's olive drab green. It weighs ~8lbs. As pictured there are some tiny bites from whatever critters eat natural fibers. None are currently munching though. I'm running out of space so ask questions. OBO
