A beautiful vintage Knowles Taylor & Knowles Platter. With a subtle band of green grape leaves and yellow gold bunches of grapes encircling the circumference of the platter, this white porcelain platter is the perfect size to serve a variety of offerings on any elegant table or during the Holiday Season. K T & K Company folded during the Depression, so this piece is at minimum 80 years old plus which makes it a wonderful addition to any vintage/antique china collection.
It measures 13 1/4 long and 10 1/2 wide. For its age, it is in very good overall vintage condition with no cracks, significant staining or crazing. There are a few very minor chips on the underside of rim on one side and there is color loss and fading on the narrow gold band that underscored the grape motif around the rim of the platter. Neither of these issues detract from the overall beauty of this piece. Please see pictures for overall condition.
