Quandary, made by the Spears Games -this is the UK version of this game. My grandparent's friends traveled to the UK often.
Made in the 70s, it has instructions in English, French & Dutch. The rules are under the box top.
Good for ages 10 to adult.
This 2 player game's object is to move all of your pieces strategically around the board from start to home.
Game synopsis;
Following an initially random placement of their 4 pawns (using cards), each player moves 1 pawn in turn one space forward (either orthogonally or diagonally) if & only if the space to which the pawn is moving is of the same color as the space in front of at least one of the opposing pawns. The first player to get one pawn to the far end of the board wins.
The board & pcs are colorful & the game board box is in good condition minus a few discolorations (photographed)
