The style is SYLVANIA, a short coverall.
SYLVANIA debuted in 2006 as Post O'Alls' first short coverall.
The inspiration for the design came from a deadstock coverall from a brand called PATERSON that designer Obuchi found in an old army navy store in New Jersey in the 1980s. It has a wide body and a short length, creating a unique balance that has a loyal following.
It was discontinued after its release and has made a comeback after 19 years in 2025.
The simple three-pocket design is timeless and goes well with five-pocket pants and wide-leg pants. Its short length makes it a coverall that even those who like denim jackets can easily wear.
