Handmade contemporary art Clock “At One With Water”

This is a piece that I envisioned when I was thinking about the sunset disappearing behind the ocean into the abyss and then the colors settling upon the water and then settling upon the beaches. You have the swirling hues of orange and yellow.
This piece was made and several phases. One was creating the base of the orange sunrise and after that dried, I created the base for the aqua ocean. Once those were dried, I swirled and powders of yellow and orange and blue swirls to give it that angelic effect.
I made the bottom piece out of clear resin and sand, and then I had to coat it again once dried with a clear coat of resin so that the pigment and the sand would not rub off for many many years to come.

The backside is curved slightly to mimic an ocean wave.
I think this is a great art piece and reflects the sun beautifully. Would look good in any windowsill or hanging on any wall.
This was a time-consuming process, but well worth it.
