This lovely vintage pitcher/ewer from Roseville Pottery Company has a beautiful floral clematis detailing which is one of the signature styles for this company.
The colour palette for this pitcher is Autumn Brown, combining various shades of brown, yellow and orange.
Produced in 1944 by Roseville, founded by J.F. Weaver in Roseville, Ohio in 1890. It was one of the fastest growing pottery companies at the turn of the century, until it closed in 1953.
Condition is good, there an open manufacturing gaze spot, very small chips on the spout edges.
